First of all I want to say, too, that I experienced the bug where the TV comes on suddenly turns itself off, but after installing the firmware upgrade that Samsung posted 4 / 5 the problem has disappeared.

I agree with other reviewers that the picture is amazing. I am also happy to see that Samsung has added an HDMI port 4. I was initially concerned that the “light touch” might clash with my style, but is very thin, especially if you mount the TV inside the cabinet. “Infolink” feature is nice and easy to configure, but I do not see as very useful.

Now for some caveats. I bought this TV right after setting up an LNT4661F for my inlaws, and I was very surprised to realize that the A650 is missing several features from the 4661F, despite A650 costs $ 650 more. For starters, the A650 has a rear S-video port (only one side S-video port). This is probably not a big problem for most people, but if you are using an older VCR or cable box, etc will have a cable attached to the side of the TV. Furthermore, there is only a composite port on the back of your TV, plus one on the side. If you want to switch from three cam surveillance consists of entry, etc. ‘re out of luck. Than a concern for me was that the A650 has only 1 antenna input versus 2 on the 4661F. This means that the A650 is not possible to connect both the antenna and a cable input. I believe that all the data uses a Samsung set top box in order to cut corners there.

By far my biggest complaint is the remote control. Again unlike the 4661F, A650 is NOT a universal remote control! This is essentially a simple TV remote control, although able to control Samsung “Anynet +” components connected via HDMI. This seems to be a big step backwards and bothers me more than other features have been removed. Furthermore, the remote is not described on the site of Samsung, so I had no way of knowing that the distance was “de-improved”. I agree with other reviewers that the navigation wheel is horrible … spins freely which makes it practically useless … spin your dial to make your selection, then as you move your finger to press the Enter button inside the scroll wheel moves the wheel and select the wrong value. One might wonder “what were they thinking?”. I saw the toys burger with better tactile feedback!

Despite my criticisms and annoyance that some features were removed, I still rated this TV as a 5 star in my book, because the image quality is by far the biggest consideration and it seems big to me. Furthermore, the aesthetic is very beautiful and new features such as HDMI and 4 are for Infolink removed features and poor remote control.

Awesome TV
We were looking for a 55″ matte screen lcd tv, but does not seem to be any. I came across this 52″ and had a chance, we could not find in our local shops. I am very happy with it, the picture is great. I am not an expert, so I can not give a detailed analysis. I can say that my husband said he had a lot of pictures (HD is great).
I also wanted to comment on the delivery. I read other reviews on TV that gave bad reviews to the pilot service. When I received the e-mail saying he would be handed to the pilot, I was expecting the worst. There service was great, put it in the room we requested, attached Stand and a blue screen and checked for any injuries checked before I signed. They also took the package.
Also, Kudos to Amazon. I ordered the TV, Wednesday and Friday has been released. Could not ask for more. TV & services are happy with Amazon.

Samsung LN52B630 is Awesome – We love it!
Background:
I was holding and looking for a new update television in the last 2 years. Samsung was one of the few manufacturers that do not offer glare matte screen, which is necessary in our room full of sunshine. But I was always waiting for the right price. So when I was about to take the LN52A630, I heard about the new series B, was released in 2009. So I had to wait with 120Hz refresh and update a dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000:1 to 40,000:1. Design Plus and the form of series B seems much more beautiful to me than Serie A. So, Amazon has offered a free Sony Blu-ray for the purchase of certain Samsung models (including LN52B630), and that was my cue at the end, for me 7.4.09.

Delivery:
When I asked our goal that we had originally planned for delivery in 7:15:09. After I got the tracking number e-mail notification of shipment from something Amazon, I started to watch our television. It seems that one of their stores is very close to the PA and NJ. Our TV was right in our neighborhood on 7/7/09. So I gave him something of a call for the provision of the first and were more than happy to offer TV on 7:10:09. The delivery went well and we had a communication with something that was great. Guys brought three flights of stairs to set up TV on the TV stand, easy to put the TV on our console, plug in and then turned on …

Image – I started to change channels to see how it seemed. The image is really amazing. The default settings seem really makes a film of soap opera, which is very strange and fascinating at the same time. It takes time to find the correct settings for the environment and the type of entry. It ‘great that once the settings are set for a specific entry retains the settings. There are so many different settings, allowing also a lot of flexibility to adapt to a particular input device. In television we have set the natural light and AMP. Cable cable HD is great and quite well on a large LCD screen. Xbox is in the game, and look great. My husband was dying to try Call of Duty on it and was totally blown away by the colors and the image on the screen. When it was time to control Blu-ray, I played Baraka (which I absolutely recommend the experience to appreciate 1080p). E ‘was unreal! The image has been extraordinary and the detail was incredible. E ‘be like we were there in person.

Sound – Even though we have chosen our B630 to our surround sound receiver, I tried the sound from the TV. Not bad, and the volume is pretty decent, actually pretty cool even halfway.

Other – B630 is a TV really attractive. Everyone has commented touch of red is really cool. Inputs available are more than enough. Swivel is terrible in the kitchen while cooking or just turning around to where my employees. Swivel is also more when you go to the back of the TV to work easily and cable inputs. Viewing angles are pretty good. Matte non-glare screen is too large, no need to close the shades during the day, not more. Check-out USB input with an external media player hard drive and found the response time fast enough for a TV. Methods of media player is fairly intuitive and easy to use. Photos look amazing, too. I’ve seen auto dimming during the opening credits of films and screens blacks. This happens when the power save option is used. We set the option off, and now darkness is nonexistent. InfoLink Ethernet is a nice feature, but limiting. I hope that Sony Ericsson is an update to enable widgets and viewing online. BTW, Ethernet is great to get the firmware updates available from Samsung. Firmware V1009 is available for download and the update was fast and smoothly. Since I had more or less on television, I do not know what the firmware update has improved, but TV is working well.

We love our Samsung LN52B630. You must shamefully admit that I fell asleep watching television almost every night for the last 12 days. My husband would normally be jealous, but also shares the same feelings I have for our new TV. We recommend it to anyone and everyone. TV has exceeded our expectations. Amazon has allowed us to have a terrible price and great service offered free white glove delivery, too. This is a win, and we could not be happier.

I looked at purchasing this TV for more than six months, more than I even looked at buying a vehicle. I had one for about 2 weeks and I was very impressed. I was originally planning to buy the 44in model, but eventually reconsidered and bought the model 52.

Only feature I was concerned that was 120 Hz I went to an electronics store and seen the 60 and 120 Hz, the other party and may not understand the difference Hz-60 is fast enough for me.

Many people complain about the sound quality of the model year. Unfortunately, I have no information useful to add here that I’m using a surround sound system.

You will not regret buying this TV

I agree totally with the reviewer Rob has said about this TV. I also bought 52 inches and 46 inches, taking into account very, very happy. We replaced a large screen with the Samsung and Panasonic are so glad we did. Panasonic has died after 5 years, and I hated the time I bought it. This Samsung is much better than a TV. The picture quality is exceptional and even color. I, like Rob, you can not compare the sound, because we too are connected to a surround sound system. I bought it for about six months, even before buying it, and of different brands in the shops the other hand, the only other TV that was nowhere near the Sony was Sony Bravia picture. According to consumer reports, Samsung is not to buy … Sony was the second in the list, so I went with Samsung. Since all the TV in our house has decided to die all at once, there will certainly be buying more Samsung soon.

Sound is just fine
I just wanted to comment on the sound of this TV because it seems to be the weak point in many reviews Samsung LCD. I think the sound quality is just fine. This model is equipped with subwoofer available in 700 series, but the sound is still quite adequate. I am sure that any audio system will improve greatly, but not be too worried about what offers TV itself. I expected the sound is tinny, poor, etc., but I find that to be the case at all.
