Their Getting Better All The Time5
I’m not very good at the specifics, But I just had to be the first to say this is an excellent LCD. I Replaced my 19′ Samsung with this 21′ & I’ve been Impressed by the picture. The much needed improvements needed over the LN19A450 were very much needed.
This is a third gen LCD; sound is a little better with adjustments, but still the same speakers (Use Exteral Speakers), picture is much better & with the adustable backlight feature makes the picture a much deeper, richer screen to view. It has all the hookups you’ll need Except it only has 1-HDMI input. The Price is Right & Shipping is Free.

…then Goldilocks said, “This one is just right.”5
I originally bought the LN22B350, the latest unit in this series, but had to return it. You can read my review on it, but in short, it was because despite the literature stating that it has one composite AND one component input, it actually should read one composite OR one component. You could only use one or the other because they share the video input jack. So, after viewing an actual image of the input panel on this unit, I took a baby step back and ordered the B360.

Wait a minute! Amazon gave me a backhanded “upgrade” by erroneously shipping the LN22A450. The 4 series is better than the 3 series, but the A series is older than the B series. They were willing to let me keep it, but after doing a little bit of research I found that the technology has leapt forward since it was made. Among other things, it had only a 3000:1 contrast ratio whereas this one has 15,000:1. These days there’s little difference between the massive numbers spun out by manufacturers unless you’re in a high tech calibration setting, but when you talking one that low, it’s not a good thing. So, one more swap and I got the LN22B360.

I really like this set. Unless you’re an audiophile, there’s not a single thing wrong with the sound. There are different settings and a bit of an equalizer to customize, and at the level of 44, the volume is excellent. People just need to understand that no manufacturer is going to put high end audio in a unit at this price point. The 22-inch set is not the one you want to pay $500 for, or should need that kind of audio. You’re not going to get a lot of the bells and whistles you get with the bigger sets because that’s not what people are using their small TVs for.

So after one that was too new for my old equipment, and one that was too old for the technology, this one is just right. I chose Samsung for the on/off timer, of which this unit has three, and the options there are better than expected–select all days, weekdays, weekends, etc. The set-up was easy, the remote balanced (though no back light), buttons are a good size and arranged fairly intelligently. The smaller screen makes the 720p and 60hz non-issues. Since I don’t pay for premium services, it was nice to see several channels airing in HD without a converter box. And on the down-low, I’m getting intermittent On Demand broadcasts, though I do wish whoever ordered them would take fewer potty breaks. Too much pausing and rewind. LOL!

I’m very satisfied with this purchase and hope to buy its big brother (46″) in the future after I’m sure Samsung is the way to go (and I think it is).

too many sound complaints5
I got this T.V. off amazon in march and I’ve had it for a little more than two weeks. I am very impressed with the product; it is a great T.V. for my ROOM, which is why I can’t understand the problems people are having with the sound. First of all, the T.V. has good sound for one that is more suited for a bedroom (not a master sized); I don’t believe it’s best suited for either the kitchen or living room (both too big). If you are that concerned about the sound, you can just plug in some computer speakers in the headphone jack for some richer sound, samsung didn’t just build that in the set to make it look pretty. And if you’re looking for a more expensive solution, then there’s always digital audio. It’s silly to expect that you’re going to get the same kind of sound from a 22′ inch that you would get on a 32′ inch or larger. But everyone seems to agree that it has an excellent picture; images are clear and crisp, even in standard definition. Don’t be influenced by the “bad sound” comments, it’s a good buy.

Simply amazed!5
This is my first LCD tv. I spent a lot of time looking at them in stores, reading reviews & finally decided that Samsung would provide me the best value for my money. I purchased this 26″ for my bedroom & it’s the perfect size. I was a little nervous setting it up but it was so simple. From attaching the stand, hooking it up & setting up the menu options. The picture is amazing! The colors are wonderful, the blacks are not washed out at all but appear rich & dark. There are a number of setting options to achieve the perfect picture for you, including adjusting the backlight. The sound is good, for a bedroom tv I’m not looking for a movie theater experience & quite frankly, I wouldn’t expect tv speakers to ever give me that. I would expect to buy separate speakers. The sound is just as good, if not better, then any past tv I have owned. I have a computer desk off to the side & often glance over at the tv and can view the screen just fine from side angles. There’s also a sleep timer for turning both off & on. I’ve watched everything from movies to sports to regular shows. Also, for anyone nervous about getting this tv without HD, it’s looks incredible even without the HD! There are tons of connections on this model too, including 3 HDMI (2 in the back & one on the side). There is a PC connection too but I haven’t tried that or the game mode. I can’t find a single negative thing to say & as a plus, the tv itself has a very classy sharp appearance. Very, very happy!

Great *bargain* 26″ Samsung5
I just bought this TV for my bedroom. It is the perfect TV for that. It isn’t too big that it overpowers the room, and isn’t too small either. I know some people complain about the audio. I think it sounds just fine. I wouldn’t have even thought about it. Like I said, it is in my bedroom and not meant to be a home theater TV. If you were looking for a home theater TV, get something bigger, and get external sound.
I have FIOS HD TV hooked up and an upconverting DVD player via HDMI ports. The picture looks great right out of the box. I set it to “movie” setting since I leave the room darker. The “dynamic” setting is too bright, but might be ok in a very bright room. The “standard” picture is fine. I highly recommend this TV if you are using the HDMI inputs. The picture leaves something to be desired if you are using the coax input or RCA inputs. Quite honestly, stick to a good old fashioned CRT if you are using analogue connections.
I compared this TV to several others, I couldn’t tell the difference in picture quality between it and ones priced up to $300 more. I don’t think 1080P is worth the extra money for a 26″ TV. Watching fast action like a hockey game, there can be some motion issues, but since it is only a 60 Hz TV, that is expected. The 120 Hz would show a slight improvement, but it isn’t bad enough of a distraction to bother me. A lot of people wouldn’t even notice, but some would. Again, it is minor.
I’m very happy with the picture quality in general, as long as it is a digital input, and especially high def. The colors are accurate and the blacks are nice and dark. Dark scenes do not get blurred together, you can see the difference in black levels easily.
If you are looking to spend less than $500 or even $600 for a TV, and you are using digital connections, this is the TV for you.
By the way, Best Buy sells this for $400. Not sure why everyone else has it for more.

great picture – sound is a disapointment4
The picture is great and the color is fantastic but the sound quality is very annoying. It is very tinny sounding. You would think Samsung would have provided better speakers. I have a 32 inch Samsung that we have in the bedroom and the sound is fine. We use this one in the kitchen/livingroom area and it is watched most of the day by my 3 yr old. The sound ends up driving me nuts after awhile (especially when used with vcr/dvd). I should have bought another 32″ even though it was too big for the area… As for recommending, I would with concessions. It may be okay in smaller rooms where volume doesn’t have to be turned up very loud, or in areas with less use. My cheap old smaller tv that this is replacing had way better sound.

Great picture, great price5
Well, the digital transition just wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, so I finally bought a new TV.

This TV has a stunning picture at a great price. Easy set up with clearly labeled slots at the back for the various inputs, and easy on-screen controls pop up when you need them.

The size is just right even in a big room if you want a more traditional TV feel, rather than a *monster TV.* I’m delighted with the picture and the sound. DVD’s are gorgeous on this screen, and plain vanilla TV is fun to watch again. If you’re a first time buyer, you’ll be thrilled. If you’re adding a small TV to a guest room or exercise room, I think the picture and sound quality is great, and the price is good, too.

Great Produce5
I have had this tv for 3 weeks and its been awesome. The colors are vivid, the sound is crisp and the use of the new style remote is simplistic. I have it hooked up to DirecTV and notice no blurry or pixelation on sports programming whatsoever. I would disgreard knee jerk negative reviews of this product. This is my 3rd Samsung and have not had one bad experience yet.

Samsung 26″ LCD5
Have this LCD in the spare room for wife’s workouts – she loves the unit – the right size at the right price! Picture is suburb, color with excellent depth and vivid clarity. Have use Samsung products in the past and have enjoyed all.
