An XBR convert – but, one caution for Dish and Cable box users
This is an amazing set. For the last year I was in possession of an XBR but recently the feature set of these sets is not up to par with what it once was. This TV has a good balance of features (beyond just TV), a beautiful and very thin.DLNA is pretty cool. Right out of the box it found my laptop on the network and I could see the images and the music was – presumably because Vista and Windows Media have DLNA and ’serve’ up to all the contents of the network. Even more shocking is that I saw 4 years Sony Vaio, who came with their own media server capabilities. TV closed (had to unplug it) when you try to view pictures, music, and some videos played very well. I have installed the software that provides Samsung with the series – so it must be even better.

A word of caution though. If you have a receiver dish or cable box Pioneer, note that, currently, this series is likely to interfere with the ability to use the remote for these units. Change the color channel IR remote to 15 has been known to work.
